Teaching Linked Open Data using Bibliographic Metadata

This paper describes LD4DH, the Linked Data for Digital Humanities: Publishing, Querying, and Linking on Semantic Web workshop at Humanities Oxford Summer School. It includes a description of general structure workshop, how it has changed over course last seven years, between 2015 2021, evaluates differences in-person delivery in 2018–2019 online mode 2020–2021. Discussion is centred data as well illustration processes, methods, software used throughout workshop. The concludes with summary participant evaluation, reflects opportunities challenges teaching Linked Open to mixed cohort predominantly researchers professionals from cultural heritage sector.
